Welcome

You've found your way to the Fun Flips Candy Dispenser blog.  Welcome!

Fun Flips dispense Smarties candies and were made in China in the mid-1990's for R.L. Albert and Sons, who was the sole importer in the U.S.A.  They are similar to PEZ and Kliks, but the head has two bendable arms attached, which is a neat extra feature.

The packaging for Fun Flips makes it sound so simple: "Collect All 6" it reads.  Yes, there are six different fruit heads (Apple, Grapes, Lemon, Orange, Pineapple, Strawberry), but there is much more than that...
  • The fruit face can have sunglasses or not
  • The stem may have a sticker or not (those with sticker are very rare)
  • The stem is one of four different colors
  • The arms are one of two different colors
  • Each hand can have one of six different hand signs
So what does this all mean?  Well, it means there are 6912 different Fun Flips dispenser possibilities!  6 (fruit) x 2 (sunglasses or not) x 2  (stem sticker or not) x 4 (stem colors) x 2 (arms color) x 6 (left hand signs) x 6 (right hand signs) = 6912.  Gah!  Fun?!  Yes!

Since no one person has all these different Fun Flips variations, this blog serves as a repository for photos of the various dispenser possibilities. Click on the fruit links above to explore and have fun!

p.s. A big thank you goes to John Anderson for helping to transform the crazy idea of a Fun Flips blog into reality!
